Community Service Update

Our community service group decided to act upon this year's theme and serve the community by beautifying the environment. For several days they've been coming to Shingle Creek park and cleaning up the trails that have been polluted with litter. Special thanks to KI Academy of Martial Arts camp for helping the team rally up and contribute. While the idea of cleaning the environment may seem simplistic to some, our community service group believes it is crucial to first serve by looking no further than your own backyard. In addition, this project has recently taken on a political purpose due to the new national government administration cutting down the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency. "If the government refuses to see the environment as a priority, then we will," a Panther Nation member says. "It's our job as the youth of this nation to take action and raise awareness for the environment."
